Kyle Kohler, P.E., IAAI-CFI

Kyle graduated from the University of Maryland in 2015, with a Bachelors in Fire Protection Engineering. He has spent time in both the public and private sectors, having previously worked as a junior consulting and design engineer, and as a Deputy Fire Marshal and Fire Investigator. In those roles, he gained experience in designing fire alarm systems, fire suppression systems, and life safety and egress documents, enforcement and application of the NC fire code, and investigation of a wide range of fire and explosion-related incidents.

He has been approved by the North Carolina Department of Insurance to teach the Fire Inspector credentialing courses at community colleges throughout North Carolina, and continuing education for active fire code enforcement officials. Kyle also has experience as a volunteer firefighter and EMT in Maryland and North Carolina.
